Integration into the Reproduction team at the Oceanário de Lisboa, with a primary focus on teleost reproduction. The role involves managing and monitoring reproductive processes, while contributing to scientific advancement and the Oceanarium's conservation objectives.
Principais responsabilidades
- Conduct scientific studies related to the reproduction of teleost fish;
- Manage and maintain larval and juvenile development systems;
- Participate in other areas of the Oceanário de Lisboa's Reproduction Department, such as auxiliary cultures and coral reproduction;
- Analyze and interpret scientific data, producing reports and publications;
- Supervise students and support the training of young researchers;
- Ensure the continuity of teleost and invertebrate reproduction at the Oceanário de Lisboa;
- Contribute to the production of relevant scientific knowledge.
Perfil desejado
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree in Marine Biology, Marine Sciences, or related fields;
- Proven experience in teleost reproduction;
- Strong knowledge of teleost and/or invertebrate reproduction;
- Track record of scientific publications;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;
- Scientific curiosity;
- High sense of responsibility and scientific rigor;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
