Barista

Location: Inception Coffee Shop, Lisbon

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Reports To: Head Barista / Store Manager

Overview:

We're seeking a passionate and skilled Barista to join our specialty coffee team at Inception Coffee Shop in Lisbon. If you love great coffee, appreciate craft, and thrive in a team environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages consistently
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other café equipment
• Engage customers with enthusiasm and knowledge about our coffee offerings
• Ensure cleanliness of the bar area and maintain hygiene standards
• Monitor stock levels and communicate supply needs
• Support the front-of-house team during busy periods
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop preferred
• Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art is a plus
• Passion for coffee and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and multitask
• Fluency in English; Portuguese is advantageous
• Punctuality, reliability, and a team-focused mindset
