Your new RoleAs a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for:
Design and development of App’s, using RESTful APIs to support Contact Center operations;
Integrate and extend Genesys Cloud CX capabilities, including routing, conversation APIs, and event handling;
Build and support AI-driven contact center solutions, leveraging cloud-native tools;
Manage authentication, data flow, and error handling between internal systems and contact center platforms;
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define system integration architecture across customer-facing channel;
Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and maintainable;
Help shape standards and best practices around API design, system communication, and Cloud integrations.
The Contact Center team is divided into 1 Product Owner, 1 Lead Engineer, 1 Solution Architect and Developers.
What you will need to succeedTo succeed as a Back-End Developer you will need:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field;
+5 years of experience working in the field;
Background in developing or integrating chatbots, voice bots, or similar AI-driven solutions;
Proven experience in building AI App’s for Contact Centers, with knowledge of the metrics, reporting, and user experience design (is considered a plus);
Experience with Genesys Cloud CX APIs, including setup, custom routing, and bot integration;
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in Cloud environments (familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud Services);
Strong understanding of secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection;
Proficiency in REST API and JSON, with skills in Node.js or Python (for scripting);
Knowledge of API gateways, message queues, and monitoring tools;
Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps environments;
Familiarity with Spring framework and ORM solutions (such as Hibernate, Sequelize, or SQLAlchemy);
Experience in low code/no code tools (is considered a plus);
Ability to work independently;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Fluency in English.
