Your New Company
You will be joining a forward-thinking organisation within the automotive and mobility innovation sector, dedicated to redesigning how digital products, connected services and large-scale platforms support next-generation mobility. 

Your New Role
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines and automated workflows that enable advanced analytics, machine learning and GenAI solutions across the organisation. You will ensure that data ingestion, transformation and orchestration processes run efficiently and reliably, while maintaining strong engineering standards across automation, testing, code quality and CI/CD. You will work closely with Data Scientists, product teams and business stakeholders, turning data requirements into well-engineered, production-ready solutions. You will also contribute to mentoring the team, reviewing code, and guiding technical decisions.

Responsibilities
• Design, build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines supporting ML and GenAI initiatives.
• Develop analytics tools that provide actionable insights into acquisition, operations and performance metrics.
• Manage ingestion, transformation, quality checks and curation of large-scale datasets.
• Implement and maintain event-driven systems and API-based integrations.
• Work closely with Data Scientists and product stakeholders to deliver robust, value-driven solutions.
• Ensure high engineering standards: unit tests, mocking, CI/CD, code quality, documentation and environment setup.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews and support the growth of other engineers.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, automation and data engineering tasks.
• Solid experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, CloudWatch, IAM.
• Strong SQL and data modelling background.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally AWS CDK.
• Expert knowledge of Spark/PySpark or similar distributed frameworks.
• Proficiency with Git, repository structure, Docker and testing frameworks.
• Practical experience with CI/CD (GitLab, GitHub Actions or CircleCI).
• Proven track record building scalable, production-grade data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML/GenAI concepts.
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

Nice to have:
• Knowledge of AWS Batch or Glue Workflows.
• Experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Exposure to BI tools such as QuickSight, Streamlit or Dash.
