Were hiring Senior AI/ML Engineer MLOps & GenAI Ops

Join a global technology leader in a fully remote role based in Portugal. This is a direct hire opportunity to lead cutting-edge initiatives in MLOps, GenAI Ops, Azure Cloud, and Snowflake supporting enterprise-scale AI innovation.

Location Remote (Portugal-based)

Contract Permanent direct hire with our client

Youll be responsible for designing, deploying, and scaling production-grade AI/ML ecosystems. From operationalizing GenAI models to building robust pipelines and cloud-native architectures, this role blends deep technical expertise with strategic impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end ML pipelines ingestion, training, deployment, monitoring

• Operationalize GenAI models (LLMs, embeddings, vector DBs, prompt orchestration)

• Automate CI/CD workflows for ML/GenAI apps

• Architect scalable AI/ML solutions on Azure (Azure ML, AKS, OpenAI)

• Leverage Snowflake for feature engineering, model serving, and governance

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders

What Were Looking For

• Experience in Machine Learning or MLOps or GenAI Ops

• Strong expertise in Snowflake (Snowpark, UDFs, ML integrations)

• Hands-on experience with Azure ML ecosystem

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and frameworks like MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow

• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Docker, Kubernetes

• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have

• Multi-cloud experience (AWS/GCP)

• Contributions to open-source MLOps/GenAI frameworks

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in AI/ML or related field
