The company you will work for
Join our client’s Shared Services Center in the pharmaceutical sector. They are looking to strengthen the Accounts Receivable area for 6 months, with fluent Italian as a mandatory requirement.

Your new role

Payment Application:

• Process and accurately apply received payments to customer accounts and transfer them to the general ledger.
• Verify outstanding amounts and customer solvency, block and unblock orders as directed by the manager.
• Reconcile received payments with pending invoices.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Perform bank reconciliation and banking administration.

Customer Communication:

• Interact with customers to clarify billing questions and resolve outstanding issues.
• Ensure excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous attitude.

Invoicing:

• Ensure electronic invoice processing.
• Submit invoices to tax authorities.
• Manage customer master data to ensure accurate billing details.

Collections:

• Monitor and manage overdue accounts.
• Implement effective collection strategies to minimize outstanding amounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment issues and disputes.
• Prepare and submit Riba remittances and convert rejected transactions to ensure proper collection.
• Prepare refunds, discounts, and installment payments for customers.
• Act as the main point of contact for the collection agency.

Reporting:

• Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Perform legal, tax, and social monitoring.

What you need to succeed

• Languages: Fluency in English and Italian.
• Experience: More than 2 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable or finance.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and problem-solving *mindset*.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
