The Accounting Specialist - System Support will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the accounting and finance department within the retail industry. This role requires a keen understanding of accounting systems and the ability to ensure their efficient operation.
Description
As a System Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our accounting platform works smoothly for local teams across the globe. You'll work side-by-side with process referents and client countries, guaranteeing quality, training and system reliability.
- Provide first-line support to users via a ticketing system
- Analyse issues and escalate complex ones to the Level 2 support team
- Ensure data integrity and alert users about critical updates
- Animate and engage the user community with relevant information
- Support countries in the monthly closing and daily operations
- Deliver regular training to keep local teams updated on functionalities
- Identify risks or anomalies and alert the central team
- Coordinate action plans with referents to improve accounting quality and satisfaction
- Collaborate on transversal projects or side missions during the month
- Continuously grow your knowledge of tools and processes
Profile
Your Profile
- At least 2 years of accounting experience (ERP support/implementation is a plus)
- Comfortable communicating in English (B1+ minimum)
- Curious about data tools, automation and process optimisation
- Problem-solver with a critical mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
