Job Description:

We are looking for an accounting and reporting senior specialist who will be responsible for the preparation and management of the administrative, financial and tax issues and accountancy of the companies under management.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of reference for specific client, ensuring a high quality of service and meeting all requests from clients on a timely basis.
• Develop a good understanding of industry specific practices including Power Purchase Agreements, construction and operational processes, applying technology specific accounting practices.
• Prepare VAT returns on a monthly and quarterly basis, and assist with accounting and tax queries as required.
• Issued and received invoices registration.
• Preparation and submission of the applicable taxes.
• Project Finance management including relation with the Banks and budget preparation.
• Banks movements registration (payments, receivables, tax liquidations, loans repayments ).
• Preparation and submission of financial reporting to the client including main KPIs.
• Controlling of the deadlines of loans repayments.
• Banks reconciliations.
• Accruing of the projects' incomes.
• Accruing of the main expenses: Insurance, land lease, depreciation, O&M ).
• Documentation management (physical and digital archive).
• Preparation and deposit of Annual Accounts and official books.

Key Requirements

• Accounting, financial and tax knowledge of small and medium companies
• Knowledge or experience in the renewable energy sector would be a mandatory requirement.
• 2-5 years-experience
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Qualified with experience in accounting for renewable assets is a must
• Good communication skills
• Be able to meet deadlines under pressure scenarios
• Strong aptitude for math, attention to detail
• Ability to organize their work independently and as part of a team
• English Fluent

Studies

• Economics Degree or Business Administration
