The Accounting & Reporting Specialist will support the finance function in managing accounting, reporting, and cash oversight activities across a portfolio of European investment vehicles. The role offers broad exposure to international finance operations, financial reporting, and stakeholder management within a dynamic investment environment.

Description

• Support the financial administration of a portfolio of special purpose vehicles (SPVs) across multiple European jurisdictions.
• Monitor third-party administrators and ensure supplier payments, tax obligations, and operating expenses are processed accurately and on time.
• Review funding requests and support capital movements, distributions, and intercompany transfers.
• Perform cash reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial reporting and statutory reporting processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation across investment structures.
• Liaise with external administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and other service providers.
• Work closely with investment, legal, and asset management teams to support portfolio activities.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support continuous improvement of finance processes, controls, and reporting.

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of professional experience within Financial Services, Accounting, Audit, Fund Administration, or similar environments.
• Exposure to investment funds, SPVs, real estate, credit, or alternative asset management is advantageous.
• Understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of corporate tax and/or VAT compliance would be considered a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to develop technical expertise.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
