To strengthen its finance team in Portugal, the company is seeking to hire, for its Lisbon offices:

Accountant

The selected candidate will report directly to the Account Team Lead and will be responsible for the following main tasks:

• Record and monitor inventory movements.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accurate classification in accordance with applicable accounting principles.
• Oversee transactions related to fixed assets.
• Analyze financial data in line with group procedures.
• Prepare accounting reports and technical documentation.
• Participate in monthly and annual closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
• Respond to internal queries regarding procedures and collaborate with the regional team when necessary.
• Review and ensure the accuracy of bank account records, including postings and reconciliations.

We are looking for a professional with a background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, proficient in Excel, with knowledge of SAP and a fluent level of English. A minimum of three years' experience in a corporate accounting department or in an accounting/tax advisory firm is required.
