You will join our clients' Finance Center of Excellence in Lisbon, supporting accounting and reporting activities with a focus on foundational accounting tasks. This entry-level role provides an opportunity for growth in a dynamic and expanding environment.

Description

• Generate basic financial reports to support the accounting team in tracking performance and quality.
• Provide administrative support to senior accountants, including document management.
• Assist in compiling data for internal stakeholders.
• Perform accounts payable reconciliations and manage accruals.
• Conduct purchase-to-pay analysis and review travel and expense reports.
• Support local teams and assist with ad hoc tasks as needed.
• Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to reflect current processes.
• Document process changes based on feedback from senior accountants.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs to develop accounting expertise.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or relevant coursework in accounting.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience or internship in accounting.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and fluency in English.
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Navision, PHC, or Cegid/Primavera is a plus but not mandatory.
