Elementis is establishing a new office and modern laboratory in Porto, Portugal. Your new Role

The Supply Chain Project Manager will support the Global Supply Chain Director and the enterprise-level PMO in successful planning, execution, and close-out of supply chain projects. This individual will lead change management initiatives and own business application implementations if required. The individual must build credibility, establish rapport, and communicate with various functional teams, process owners, and stakeholders at multiple levels.


As a Supply Chain Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Develop processes, tools & templates to support the execution of the supply chain projects in coordination with IT and various business functions;
  • Support supply chain leaders and project owners to develop and execute project plans, including charter, team, schedule, resource, and budget requirements, and drive initiatives to an effective conclusion;
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in terms of project timing, cost, or quality of delivery. Provide timely and effective updates on progress and risks to all key stakeholders;
  • Provide project-related change management for supply chain leaders;
  • Provide oversight for interdependencies between multiple supply chain projects and between multiple high-priority cross-functional projects, supporting supply chain leaders and project owners to ensure alignment across sponsor organisations;
  • Communicate effectively to ensure priorities are defined and aligned with business goals.


What you'll need to be succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • 5+ years of experience working in Supply Chain (with 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing major projects at global organisations);
  • Experience in Supply Chain preferred;
  • Advanced business applications knowledge;
  • Fluency in English - verbal and written.


What the Company can Offer you

This position will have a hybrid regime with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Whilst this role will be based at the Porto Hub, there will be occasions where you may be required to travel to other Elementis sites.
