MDM Analyst is a member of team who manage master data in accordance with the defined quality standards and requirements by the relevant Data Steward to ensure enterprise data management is maintained to the level required to support efficient and effective operation. This includes improving and setting standards for data quality, creating & cleansing the master data sets, processing the creation and amendments to master data, monitoring data to ensure that it meets those standards and working with business users to ensure data errors are corrected. Identifying continuous improvement initiatives are welcome.
 

Your new role:

You´ll be responsible for to design and implement a new Master Data project that consists of to launch the area in Portugal, meeting the standards for data quality. Work with Master Data global team to maintain Big 4 data items and work together to reach and maintain data standards and policies across the Organization, Regions and Affiliates in scope of Project4D, but always looking for continuous improvement.

Live the Global Business Services organization’s shared customer focused view;

Support to execute MDM Policies and standards; 

Follow the defined decision rights in daily operations on basis of Data Steward’s requirements;

Collaborate with the global MDM team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction;

Continuously develop own talent learning and development to expand competencies and knowledge;

Execute business processes and use SAP MDG to ensure consistent master data across the organization;

Support Master Data operations to meet quality and Data Governance standards;

Escalate any issues and relevant Data Steward in a timely manner;

Ensure documentation of MDM changes in line with defined policies and requirements;

Support and provide inputs to the Global Data Owners on their data strategy and prioritization of effort.

What you need to be successful:

Bachelor degree in relevant area;

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Master Data Management in a large company with a sound knowledge of finance processes (nice to have);

Proven experience in setting up Master Data projects and managing work-process transition in multiple countries;

Strong English language ability;

SAP Skills;

Experience working with multiple countries/geographies;

Previous experience working within a Global Business Services environment preferred.
