Adecco Recruitment is searching for a Senior Data Tester for a client focused on supporting digital transformation journeys by harnessing the power of AI, ML, DevOps, and Automation. Their top-notch quality engineering services are designed to accelerate speed, enhance quality and security, and elevate customers digital experience.

As a Senior Data Tester you will cultivate a strong testing culture within customers platform operating model from the very beginning. You will be responsible for designing a cutting-edge Databricks data lakehouse on Azure, utilizing DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. The platform you create will enable metadata-driven data pipelines for efficient data collection, transformation, and presentation through PowerBI.

You will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our clients organizations data. Youll be responsible for developing and implementing data quality standards, processes, and best practices to maintain exceptional data quality throughout the entire data lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate COTS/ Open-source product and recommend right fit solutions for given customer challenge.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for software applications to ensure the reliability of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations.  
• End to end integration testing between multiple independent systems and interfaces (flat files, APIs (ETL), etc.  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.  
• Utilize Cloud services, Snowflake data warehouse, and ODS to test data integration and migration processes.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of database systems using industry standard technologies (SQL, Python, iCEDQ, etc.).
• Create and maintain documentation of test plans, test cases and testing results.  
• Communicates technical architecture to other technical teams and leadership teams.
• Work with Data Stewards & Business Analysts to understand and define data quality thresholds.

Requirements

• Preferable with a computer science degree.
• 5 years of overall experience with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ETL and Data and BI Report Testing (Mandatory).
• Good understanding about data quality requirements (Mandatory).
• Experience monitoring data quality by designing and deploying data testing at scale.
• Exposure to testing for Data Warehousing and Data Lake.
• Good knowledge of SQL, Python programming languages (Mandatory).
• Good knowledge in various database technologies such as Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL.
• Exposure to Azure Cloud hosted data solutions such as ADLS, ADFS, Databricks is an added advantage.
• Experienced in any automated data validation tools like RightData, DataGaps, ICEDQ or equivalent products (optional).
