HAYS is managing the recruitment process for a client looking for a QA Analyst to join its team. This professional will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the company's software products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manually test desktop applications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and report defects and bugs, collaborating with the development team to resolve them.
• Develop test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
• Collaborate with other teams (consultancy and support) to ensure that the software complies with user requirements and is delivered on time.
• Carry out regression testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for products.
• Develop and maintain the company's testing infrastructure to ensure efficient testing.
• Write detailed test reports and performance analyses for the product, as well as documentation for consultants/customers.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle for new products.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in
  manual testing of desktop applications based on the .NET framework.
• At lesta 1 year's proven experience as a manual tester.
• Experience with bug tracking systems such as Redmine, JIRA or others.
• Familiarity with desktop development technologies such as Winforms and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
• Experience of working in Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with IDE tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio (no coding required).
• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Experience using version control tools such as TortoiseHg or Git.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, good communication and management skills.
• English level B1 or higher.
• Willingness to work on a hybrid basis.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• ISTQB certification - Foundation Level.
• Exposure to CI\CD tools (pipeline developed in-house).
• Experience working with the BDD approach (Gherkin syntax).
• Ability to perform basic SQL queries.
• Basic knowledge of C# programming language and Ranorex Studio (for potential future test automation scripts).
• Driving license.
