Your new company

 

You will be working for a global leader company in the industrial sector.

 

 

Your new role

 

  • Provide first-line troubleshooting

  • Set up hardware, install and configure software for Windows and iOS.

  • Manage user accounts, groups, and file permissions in Active Directory and enterprise content management systems

  • Undertake ongoing housekeeping activities such as daily server backup checks, Windows updates, routine software updates for backend server applications and maintaining electronic records with regards to equipment allocation, loans and purchases

  • Manage the firm’s daily/offsite backups and restore data

  • Set up, configure, test, and troubleshoot teleconferencing equipment, multimedia devices, monitors, projectors, and any other presentation equipment for meetings and events dealing with all technical aspects

  • Drive operational excellence through quality closures and proper escalation of issues

  • Help maintain administration required for operating an ISO27001 compliant IT environment

 

 

What you'll need to succeed

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Solid experience in cybersecurity, in leadership or senior positions

  • In-depth knowledge of information security tools and techniques, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, WAF, etc

  • Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, among others

  • Advanced skills in log analysis, threat detection, and incident response

  • Experience in implementing processes aimed at certifying security standards

  • Experience in implementing/coordinating SOC and NOC teams

  • Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, are desirable

 

 

What the company can offer you

 

  • Completed education in Information Technology or comparable further education

  • Willingness to take on responsibility in the Microsoft (Windows) workspace

  • Experience with supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 suite of products

  • Exposure to MDM products like Intune / Endpoint Central

  • (Azure) Active Directory administration

  • Experience with Service desk ticketing systems

  • Understanding of basic networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.

  • Security awareness

  • Excellent communication skills towards internal and external parties as well as very high customer and service orientation

  • Fluent Portuguese and English is required
