Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security.
  • Manage, configure, and support Microsoft Exchange servers, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee and administer Active Directory services, including user, group, Group Policy, and access management.
  • Implement and manage system updates, patches, and backup processes to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and act to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and end users when required.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and technical procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance.


You must have:

  • Over 6 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or in a similar role.
  • 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and related administration tools.
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies such as VMware and/or Hyper-V (nice to have).
  • Solid PowerShell skills for system administration and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical profiles.
  • European Union Citizenship or Portuguese Working Visa / Portuguese Residency
  • Availability to go to the office, once or twice per week
