Descrição da Função

UX Researcher - B2B / Autónomo - Long Term Contract - £200-£250 per day

Enterprise Product User Testing Strategy Quantitative and Qualitative Research

About the Role

Exalto Consulting is supporting a client that is building a new enterprise application designed to streamline complex operational workflows. To ensure the product meets the needs of its users from day one, we are looking for a UX Researcher who can bring clarity, evidence and empathy into every stage of development.

This role is central to helping the product team understand real user needs, validate assumptions, and shape a user experience that genuinely supports people in their day to day work. You will be responsible for defining and delivering the user testing strategy, gathering insights from both qualitative and quantitative research, and turning those insights into clear, usable guidance for design and product decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and lead the user testing strategy for a new enterprise application.
  • Plan and run research activities that generate meaningful user and product data, including interviews, usability testing, surveys and behavioural analysis.
  • Translate findings into practical recommendations that help the product team make informed decisions.
  • Work closely with designers, product managers and engineering teams to ensure user needs remain visible throughout the build.
  • Create clear and accessible research outputs that highlight patterns, themes and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support ongoing iteration and learning as the product evolves.

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience conducting both qualitative and quantitative UX research.
  • A track record of shaping user testing approaches for digital products, ideally at enterprise scale.
  • The ability to explain insights in a clear, grounded and human way that supports good decision making.
  • Comfort working in environments where the product is still forming and assumptions need validating.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine interest in helping teams understand their users better.

Why This Role Matters

This product will be used daily by people who rely on it to do their jobs effectively. Your work will help ensure that what is built is shaped by real evidence, not guesswork. You will play a central role in influencing how the product works, how intuitive it feels, and how well it serves the people who depend on it.
