Dark Cloud Games is looking for a Unity 2D Developer (Mid-Level) to join our team in the development and optimization of a Dark Fantasy RPG with Immersive Sim elements. The professional will be responsible for implementing dialogue systems, combat systems and backend integration.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience with Unity 2D in commercial/published projects.
• Strong knowledge of C# (Unity): data structures, events, coroutines, and input system.
• Experience with game system architecture (combat, inventory, UI, character progression).
• Experience in performance optimization (mobile/desktop).
• Basic Portuguese communication skills (sufficient for daily interaction).
• Nice to have: knowledge of Shader Graph, URP, and Unity profiling tools.

Conditions

• Annual salary: €31,000.00
• Contract: 2 years
• Work model: On-site at the beginning, with transition to hybrid - Portugal

About the Project

Development of a Dark Fantasy RPG with a complex narrative, administration and progression systems integrated into a web platform (Angular + Node.js + MySQL), and immersive 2D gameplay.
