Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced UI Developer to design, develop, and implement engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our innovative products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.

Under general supervision, develops, codes, test, and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software customers. Requires good understanding of business application. Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them. Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements from customers. May assist in development of software user manuals. Demonstrates software. Note: If the incumbent is responsible for the development of software for internal use, please match to a position in the Application Development sub-family grouping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and back-end developers to define, design, and implement user interface features.
• Develop high-quality, responsive, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into actual code that produces visual elements of the application.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging UI development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in software development with a strong focus on User Interface Development.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing User Interfaces (UI) for web or mobile applications.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
