Quadrante is looking to strengthen our Energy Business Unit by recruiting a Trainee Civil Draftsman/BIM Modeler for the Industrial Roads department, based at our Porto office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and development of industrial access roads and platforms associated with substations, energy facilities (wind, solar and/or BESS) and other infrastructure projects
• Contribute to earthworks design, drainage systems, and geometric road layouts, ensuring technical quality and compliance with applicable standards
• Preparation of technical drawings and 3D models
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil works with electrical and structural engineering solutions

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus
• Fluency in English; additional languages are valued
• Professional experience in the energy sector or related fields is a plus
• Interest in the development of earthworks, drainage system and design of access roads
• Familiar with and eager to further develop skills in software such as Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar; proficiency is valued
• Strong communication skills and continuously seeking to learn
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy
• Focus on technical excellence, attention to detail, strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills
