Position: Mid - Senior Test Automation Engineer - Mobile and Web Testing

Location: Lisbon (Hybrid)

Type: Fulltime, Hybrid from Lisbon (2-3 days onsite per week)

Languages: French (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2)

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid - Senior Tester Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Mobile Testing for both Android and iOS platforms, specializing in Selenium.

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for mobile applications (Android, iOS), web, and API testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

• proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, focusing on mobile (Android, iOS), web, and API testing.
• Proficiency in Selenium and Cucumber for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Java for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Experience with test automation for Web, API, and Mobile Apps.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test design, and execution.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, CI/CD).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Familiarity with other test automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Mandatory languages: French (minimum B2) and English (minimum B2)
• Availability for a hybrid working model, based in Lisbon.

Key Responsabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications (Android, iOS), web, and API testing using Selenium and Cucumber.
• Implement and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and define test automation strategies.
• Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects with clear and actionable details.
• Continuously optimize test automation scripts to enhance efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Execute regression, functional, and performance testing on mobile applications to ensure optimal performance.
