Who are we looking for…?
Are you passionate about flawless communication and delivering exceptional service from the very first call? As a Telephone Operator, you will be a key part of the guest experience and the first voice representing the luxury, warmth, and excellence of The Ritz-Carlton. You will manage internal and external communications with professionalism, anticipate guest needs, and ensure efficient, clear, and personalized responses. If you enjoy providing solutions, remain calm under pressure, and are motivated by high-level telephone service, we would love to meet you.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Handling and managing internal and external calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Acting as the first point of telephone contact for guests, ensuring service aligned with our Gold Standards.
- Routing requests and inquiries to the appropriate departments and following up when necessary.
- Providing accurate information about resort services, operating hours, events, restaurants, and local attractions.
- Managing messages, wake-up calls, and special requests with exceptional attention to detail.
- Maintaining clear and effective communication with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, and other departments.
- Recording and updating relevant guest information in internal systems.
- Handling telephone-related incidents with discretion, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Supporting Front Office operations when required, while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor at all times.
What we are looking for…
- Excellent communication skills, with a clear, warm, and professional telephone manner.
- Strong service orientation and the ability to convey genuine hospitality over the phone.
- Previous experience in switchboard operations, telephone service, or luxury hospitality environments (preferred).
- Ability to multitask, work as part of a team, and remain composed during high-volume periods.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; additional languages (German, French, etc.) are a strong advantage.
- Valid work permit for Spain.
