Context :

IKOS is constantly seeking Telecom Engineers keen to take part in our missions throughout their country (Portugal) or abroad (all EU, depending on languages skills). If you are a specialist or a generalist, expert or junior Telecom engineer - we are looking for various types of skilled new team members.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and optimize rail telecommunications networks, including voice, data, and video communication systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of telecom solutions
• Conduct network assessments, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Participate in testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities

We'd love you to apply if:

• Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (mandatory)
• Proven experience in designing and managing rail telecom networks
• Familiarity with GSM-R (Global System for Mobile Communications - Railways) and other rail-specific communication protocols
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Portuguese and English speaking is mandatory.
