Your new role
• To work closely with the product manager(s) and delivery manager(s),
• To help to provide technical knowledge to support the team and guide the work,
• To guide the technical direction of the mission by working with technical architects and the developers on the team,
• To plan how specific pieces of work fit within the rest of the team’s work, and, sometimes, tailoring the work based on who is in the team,
• To support team’s learning and development, being the expertise in the team,
• To add suitable technical information to epics and user stories,
• To help on recruiting developpers to scale and maintain our Digital Development Tech-Hub capacity with investment world-class talent
• Assumed responsibility and handover of vendor developed platforms and products
• To help recruiting and on-boarding new developpers to the team, introduce the team’s work and overall goals,
• To discuss the new developer’s objectives to ensure there is suitable work for them and generally help settle them in to be productive team members,
• To off-board leavers,
• To create a safe envrionment where team members, enabling them to share ideas and ensure thir work well-being,
• To remove technical blockers,
• To champion good practices, running peer code reviews,
• To attend to incident reviews,
• To not need to oversee everything the team does, allowing them to make their own technical decisions,
• To not need to know everything about our Digital Landscape to be a Technology Lead.

What you need to be succeed
• Leadership and people’s skills to steer engineering & development teams,
• Experienced in supporting teams using Agile frameworks,
• The ability to think strategically and lead tactically,
• The ability to produce and present technical solution,
• Consultative approach with blend of pragmatism and assertiveness,
• The ability to communicate complex technical issues in a manner that engages all stakeholder groups,
• The ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams,
• Fluency in English,
• Expert on either .NET for Web or Java for Mobile App Development
• Good understanding of Digital Experience Platforms, headless CMS and Commerce
• Strong background in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for complex integrated products
• Background in API and Microservices solution development
• Extensive experience of working with MACH architecture, especially Headless CMS for Web and Mobile App
• Extensive experience of leading development teams for Customer Experience focused channels (Web & Mobile Apps)
• Experience of working with React Native & Google Firebase frameworks
• Experience with a modern DXP (Episerver/Optimizely, Sitecore, Adobe etc.)
• Good understanding of Product Management and DevOps,
• Good knowledge of DevSecOps principles and partnering with QA teams
• Skilled in Agile tools – Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins, Azure Dev/Ops
• Experience of Digital Healthcare solutions would be beneficial
• Worked in a multi-cultural and international environment.
