We are looking for a Technician Production Support, for a project based in Lisbon.
Responsabilities:
- Support and monitor the cash equities execution platform to ensure stability and optimal performance
- Build and enhance monitoring to prevent and quickly resolve issues
- Deploy production changes with precision ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining the integrity of the platform
- Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to implement continuous process improvements
- Manage incident including detailed analysis and reporting to maintain high service levels
- Ability to manage priorities, incidents and problems
- Good communication skills and teamworking
- Quickly learn new systems/products
- Issue follow-up and problem-solving ability
- Time management
Requirements:
- Application support experience
- Core Unix/Linux skills
- Knowledge of network technologies and protocols - specifically TCP and UDP
- Basic scripting skills (Unix/Linux shell, Python, Perl for scripting, any other programming language, e.g. C, C++, Java)
- Basic SQL knowledge
- SLog management: Splunk, ELK, Gray log, Loki
- Network monitoring: Corvil
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/Maria DB, KDB/q
- Messaging: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, Kafka
- Observability and monitoring: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
- Fluent in English (written and oral)
