Your New Role
As the Technical Lead for Website Personalization, you will analyze consumer behaviors, develop consumer segment strategies, and utilize marketing personalization tools to create tailored customer experiences. This role involves close collaboration with regional eCommerce and retail teams, global technology, and Direct-to-Customer teams to build highly personalized digital shopping experiences aimed at enhancing customer engagement, conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements for implementation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization, particularly in Interaction Studio.
- Advise on strategies for multichannel activities, including personalization, advanced segmentation, and 360-degree customer journeys.
- Propose and design solutions for real-time customer interactions through various channels such as web, email, and mobile.
- Build Proofs-Of-Concept to illustrate possible technical solutions to stakeholders and technical staff.
- Develop a technical roadmap that aligns with business strategy.
- Partner with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, and Business Analysts to understand customer requirements and process flows, translating them into Salesforce technology solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Drive best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, prioritize features, and deliver solutions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 5+ years of experience in implementing large-scale, multi-country, multi-language eCommerce websites, preferably in Salesforce.
- Understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Interaction Studio’s architecture, features, and limitations.
- Knowledge of data models, data integration, and synchronization between Interaction Studio and other systems.
- Ability to work with customer data, segmentation, and personalization rules.
- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for embedding and customizing Interaction Studio experiences.
- Experience with tag management systems (like Google Tag Manager) for deploying Interaction Studio scripts.
- Familiarity with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and Interaction Studio APIs for custom integrations.
- Understanding of Webhooks, event-driven architecture, and data synchronization.
- Ability to script and automate processes within Interaction Studio using tools like SQL, JavaScript, or Python.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Einstein for AI-driven personalization and recommendations.
