We are looking for an Tech Lead Data & Analytics!
Responsabilities:
- Technically leading Data & Analytics projects, from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Developing and implementing modern, scalable architectures for large volumes of data, with a focus on the energy sector.
- Promoting the use of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data storage, processing and analysis.
- Ensuring best practices in the development of solutions with technologies such as Apache Spark, Hive, Impala, SQL, Scala, and Machine Learning frameworks.
- Leading the integration of data from different sources, including energy systems, IoT sensors, and smart metering platforms.
- Encouraging the adoption of modern monitoring and orchestration tools, optimizing data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Working in collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient and innovative technical solutions.
- Act as a technical mentor, promoting the development and growth of the team in terms of knowledge and skills.
- Keeping up to date with technological trends in the energy sector and suggesting innovations that add value to the business.
Requirements:
- Higher education in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science or related areas. A postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management would be a plus.
- Consolidated experience in technical leadership of teams in complex projects, preferably in the energy sector.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including relevant certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals).
- Practical experience in big data tools, such as Apache Spark, Hive, Impala, and data pipeline orchestration.
- Strong programming and scripting skills, with mastery of SQL, Scala, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Experience in projects using Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps solutions for CI/CD belt automation in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with the challenges and regulations specific to the energy sector is highly desirable.
- Communication skills to interact with multidisciplinary teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Advanced English for reading, writing and speaking.
