We are seeking an agile and commercially sharp Tactical Buyer. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Spot Buy process, quickly securing goods and services while ensuring compliance, best value, and swift supplier selection.

Description

• Spot Buy Execution: Manage the overall Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) Spot Buy process, including performing compliance checks, quotation requests, and executing negotiations (price, T&Cs) for optimal supplier selection.
• Problem Resolution: Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies when linked to pricing or commercial terms, ensuring accurate and timely payment flow.
• Strategic Collaboration: Maintain close collaboration with the Strategic team to support the development and updating of category cards and buying channel instructions.
• Cycle Acceleration: Partner with Operations and Support teams to significantly accelerate the quote-to-order lifecycle for negotiated deals, meeting time constraints effectively.
• Service Excellence: Partner with Operations and Support teams to accelerate the quote-to-order lifecycle for the negotiated deals.

Profile

• Experience & Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, combined with 2-3 years of experience in procurement, buying, or a similar role with direct negotiation responsibilities.
• Sourcing Acumen: Proven experience with quick sourcing processes and efficient supplier selection. Basic knowledge of contract/T&C management and associated legal constraints.
• Language Proficiency: Strong communication skills in English and Italian (minimum B2 level).
• Technical & Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints, and proficiency in Google Workspace. Knowledge of the Coupa and SAP S4 systems is preferred.
