Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote assistance using web-based support tools as needed.
  • Respond to service requests via phone and email in accordance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Process service tickets and assign them to appropriate onsite technicians or client-specific internal resources.
  • Maintain ownership of service tickets throughout the entire support lifecycle.
  • Escalate critical issues to the Service Desk Manager for proper handling.
  • Actively monitor customer systems and services, responding to device-down scenarios.
  • Perform server updates and reboots during customer-designated maintenance windows.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, including backup status and application/hardware-related problems.
  • React promptly to onsite outage scenarios as assigned by the Service Desk Manager.
  • Follow all processes and quality standards established by the Service Desk Manager.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, directly assisting customers.
  • Strong knowledge of troubleshooting Operating Systems, DLL, Antivirus, Malware, Spyware, Software Installs, Active Directory, Printers, and Mobile Device activation.
  • Solid expertise in common productivity suites (Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook-Exchange, Adobe Acrobat, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of server-side applications such as Exchange Server, WSUS, Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, and Citrix Xenserver.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and software interactions (Application/OS threading, memory swapping, disk storage subsystems, etc.).
  • Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, Red Hat, etc.) are an asset.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
