We are currently expanding our team and looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented, and passionate Swedish-speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Lisbon.

Job Overview:


As a Swedish-speaking Content Moderator, you will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and ensuring that user-generated content aligns with community guidelines, legal requirements, and company standards for a popular social media platform. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and positive online experience for our users, while adhering to strict guidelines and processes.


This is an on-site role in Lisbon, where you will be part of a collaborative team working in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in content moderation or related fields is a plus, but not required. If you have strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and in a team, and are fluent in Swedish (B2-C1 level) and English (B2 level), we would love to hear from you.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Content Moderation:
  • Review and moderate user-generated content across various platforms, including social media, forums, and online communities.
  • Ensure that content complies with community guidelines, legal regulations, and company standards.
  • Identify and flag inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content, taking swift action to remove or restrict such content as necessary.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure content decisions align with policies and best practices.
  • Quality Control:
  • Perform detailed reviews of content for quality and accuracy, maintaining a high standard of work even under pressure.
  • Ensure that content meets language and cultural requirements, adhering to regional sensitivities and guidelines.
  • Provide feedback to improve content moderation processes and policies.
  • Collaboration with Teams:
  • Work closely with other content moderators, team leads, and managers to achieve content moderation goals and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaborate with the support team to address user concerns and complaints related to content issues.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Track, document, and report on the volume and types of content moderated.
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on trends, issues, and insights regarding content moderation.
  • Suggest improvements based on patterns observed in the content reviewed.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Quickly and accurately assess flagged content and apply the appropriate moderation actions based on company policies.
  • Resolve any content-related issues while maintaining a professional and impartial approach.
  • User Support & Engagement:
  • Assist users with queries related to content moderation and provide clear, concise explanations when content is flagged or removed.
  • Ensure a fair and consistent application of rules across all content reviewed.


Requirements:


  • Language Skills:
  • Fluent in Swedish (B2-C1 level) and English (B2 level) both written and spoken. You will primarily work with Swedish content, but communication with teams and reporting may require proficiency in English.
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience in content moderation or customer service is a plus but not required. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to Detail:
  • Ability to carefully review and analyze content, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability:
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working with sensitive and sometimes challenging content.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English. You will need to effectively communicate content decisions and provide feedback to team members and management.
  • Cultural Awareness:
  • Understanding of cultural differences and sensitivities, especially related to language, images, and context in Swedish-speaking regions.
  • Tech-Savvy:
  • Comfortable using content moderation tools, platforms, and basic office software. Training on specific tools will be provided.
  • Team Player:
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment to meet targets and objectives.
