Adecco Recruitment is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for a leading company in the production of luxury goods, based in Porto.

This role will play a strategic and hands-on part in optimizing and managing the entire supply chain. If you have experience in supply chain, enjoy working in demanding environments, and value a lead by example approach, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsabilities

  • Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and align with quality and ethical standards.
  • Vendor Management & Sourcing
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers; maintain strong relationships; negotiate contracts and terms; conduct performance reviews.
  • Inventory Management
  • Plan, forecast, and control raw material and finished goods inventory to meet production and sales needs, minimizing waste and avoiding disruptions.
  • Logistics & Distribution
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, customs, and insurance, ensuring timely and secure delivery in coordination with internal teams.
  • Ethical Sourcing & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and certifications, maintain traceability and documentation of all materials.
  • Monitor supply chain performance using analytics and prepare regular reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Management and Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Masters degree preferred;
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, experience;
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor relationship skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities;
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., ERP systems) and advanced Excel;
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally in a fast-paced, high-value environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures for high value items;
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • German and Italian will be considered a plus.
