Elementis is establishing a new office and modern laboratory in Porto, Portugal. Your New Role

The Data Analyst role is responsible for utilizing data analysis techniques and processes to extract meaningful trends and insights from Supply Chain data; enabling informed decision-making and driving continuous improvement across the function. 

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst you will:

• Establish a robust data collection system to capture relevant data points across the entire supply chain. This includes data on customer fulfillment (order processing), planning, inventory, production, transportation, distribution, and procurement.
• Ensure data integration and accuracy across various data sources such as ERP systems, demand management systems, inventory dashboards, volume dashboards, production and capacity planning databases, and transportation management systems. This involves managing the supply chain master data at the data sources. This also involves supporting data consolidation from different systems into a centralized data warehouse or data pool.
• Conduct data cleaning and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency. This includes identifying and resolving data errors, duplicates, missing values, and outliers that can impact the analysis.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights in the data to drive decision-making and create data visualization dashboards to easily communicate those findings, including current dashboards and reports for OTIF report, Backorders report, SLA conformance report, Trend Report, Demand Consensus Report, Volume Dashboard, Inventory Dashboard, Inventory DOS report, Supply Review report, etc.
• Collect, consolidate, and analyze data for supply chain costs and inventory positions of products and materials and prepare fundamental information to supply chain leaders about the performance of various cost and inventory metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at various levels, including executives, sharing data insights crucial for informed decision making and drive alignment across the organization.
• Explore opportunities to leverage emerging technologies and trends in the supply chain such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and predictive analytics.
• Support SIOP, supply/production planning, and material planning, and recommend the improvement areas in information flow, data needs, and reporting template.

What you will need to be succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical, business or related field;
• 5 years’ experience in data analysis, data process, data governante or data base management;
• Familiarity with data analytical / visualization tools, including Tableau, Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL) and Python;
• Excellent communication skills, communicating clearly and effectively both written and oral across internal teams and other partners;
• Fluency in English - verbal and written.

What the Company Can Offer you

This position will have an hybrid regime with a minimum of 3 days in the office. Whilst this role will be based at the Porto Hub, there will be occasions where you may be required to travel to other Elementis sites.
