Adecco Recruitment is looking for a Supplier Development Engineer (M/F) for an automotive industry located in Vila do Conde.

 

Responsibilities 

• Advanced planning of the development of component design, during the APQP process, ensuring its correct industrialization, achieving the expected results in quality, cost and time, meeting the technical requirements, the rules applicable to the sector of activity, as well as other specific customer requirements.
• Qualification of new suppliers of electric motor components, through risk assessment audits.
• Validation of Initial Samples, product or process changes, through document management and execution of experimental tests.
• Request for quotation, negotiation and treatment of data in decision & risk assessment support matrices.
• Use of quality management tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DFM, SPC, MSA) to support the launch of new projects.
• Research and Development of component design, in collaboration with the companys technological centers.

 

Requirements

• Masters degree in mechanical, industrial or metallurgical engineering;
• Relevant experience within mechanical, plastics, stamping, copper wire and/or others commodities
• Excellent knowledge of Spoken and Written English.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in production processes.
• Experience in the automotive industry is essential.
• Proficiency in quality tools is indispensable.
