Our Client is seeking a highly analytical and strategic finance professional to join its Finance team as a Strategic Finance Analyst. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the CFO, supporting strategic planning, financial modelling, investment analysis, and key business decisions across the organization.

Description

• Actively participate in the development and monitoring of the company's multi-year strategic plan, providing structured analytical support for its execution.
• Conduct strategic analyses, develop financial models, and prepare business plans, including sensitivity analyses and alternative scenarios to support critical business decisions.
• Identify business and investment opportunities.
• Define strategies to optimize the company's capital structure, balance sheet, and P&L, contributing to the organization's financial sustainability.
• Develop financial reporting and interactive dashboards to support decision-making, ensuring the availability of relevant financial and operational insights regarding both the industry and company performance.
• Provide cross-functional support across the entire finance function.
• Coordinate responses to a variety of ad-hoc requests from internal stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the ability to deliver clear executive-level summaries.

Profile

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred academic institutions include Nova School of Business & Economics, ISEG, Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, or ISCTE).
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a similar role.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling (advanced Excel) and the use of BI/data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of SAP and fluency in English.
• Holistic perspective, strong analytical capabilities, strategic mindset, and results orientation.
• High level of accuracy, organization, autonomy, creativity, and professional maturity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive-level decision-makers.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to ambiguous environments, combined with a strong team-oriented mindset, a collaborative approach, commitment to knowledge sharing, integrity, and professional ethics.
