We are looking for a SRE Observability for a Project based in Lisbon.


Project Mission:

An SRE focused on Observability. Someone who can look at a complex system of services, products, applications, and contents that work together for a full E2E customer experience in a telco company and identify areas for improvement on standards application, best practices, and help to define and implement business metrics that represent the business needs and the customer outcomes.

To work closely to Product Teams, embedded into their roadmaps and help to transform that into monitoring assets, alerts, dashboards to enrich the support experience.


Responsabilities:

  • Be Observability Expert/Evangelist;
  • Create: SLOs, Metrics, Tech Debt, bugs;
  • Define standards and raise awareness, best practice with product team/squad, lead and enable the right outcomes for customers;
  • Understand how to define and implement Business metrics that represents Business & Customer outcomes, working with product team, and implement them (in code and in observability stack);
  • Embedded into the Product Team/Squads (or subdomain);
  • Define/create/implement standard metrics (frontend web, mobile app, microservices, strapi, infra & Apigee);
  • Define/create/implement standard SLOs;
  • Work with SRE Platform team to automate implementation of above;
  • Define/create/identify/implement business metrics for each MSA (working closely with squads and product/business owner);
  • Create backlog items for squads;
  • Define/create/identify/implement SLO for each metric;
  • Provide training/support to squad as to how to create them in Dynatrace.


Requirements:

  • Professional experience as SRE;
  • Experience with environment's where services can be built in mobile, web, integration or backend technologies, Google Cloud based and Apigee exposure.
  • Some of the technologies you must have experience: Angular, Strapi CMS, Squid Proxy, PingFederate, Kotlin and Swift, Apigee, Dynatrace, GCP.
