Job Title Senior Software Engineer Unit Lead (Global Engineering Team / Europe)

Location Porto, Vila do Conde

Type Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 developers focused on software development for BLDC motors, including implementing FOC algorithms and Model-Based Design (MBD).
• Guide the transition from baremetal platforms to Safety RTOS and AUTOSAR.
• Establish an automated testing environment in Linux, ensuring robust, safety-critical software.

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in embedded software development, with 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in C/C, BLDC motor control, FOC, and MBD.
• Experience with safety-critical systems and ISO 26262 standards.
