We're Hiring: Splunk Developer (Intermediate Level 3-5 Years Experience)

Location: Remote from Portugal

Languages: English required

About the Role

We're looking for a Skilled Splunk Developer to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to onboard data sources, define logging strategies, and enhance both monitoring and security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, alerts, and reports

Write and optimize complex SPL queries

Onboard and parse new data sources

Maintain Splunk infrastructure and forwarders

Collaborate with teams to define logging needs

Troubleshoot search, performance, and indexing issues

Automate data enrichment and normalization

Support incident response and maintain documentation

Requirements

3+ years of experience with Splunk (developer and/or admin roles)

Strong SPL (Search Processing Language) skills

Experience with data sources like syslog, APIs, and OS logs (Windows/Linux)

Familiarity with IT, security, or DevOps environments

Strong analytical and communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment

Nice to Have

Splunk Certifications (Power User, Admin, Architect)

Experience with Splunk ES or ITSI

Scripting experience (Python, Shell)

Understanding of cloud logging solutions and log formats
