Solution Architect

Location Porto - Hybrid

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is hiring for a client with a global presence.

We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to define technology and architecture strategies while maintaining the architectural runway for solutions and applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution and technical architecture, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technology and architectural strategies aligned with business goals.
• Design, architect, develop, implement, and monitor effective solutions to complex business problems.
• Maintain the architectural runway for a solution or application.
• Ensure best practices and industry standards are followed in solution architecture.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions for testing, building, and deploying applications.
• Work with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless integrations.
• Utilize messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus for efficient data streaming and communication.
• Apply security best practices to architecture and solution design.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• More than 7 years of equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environments.
• Proven experience in strategy formulation and solution/technical architecture.
• Strong expertise in Java, JEE, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), along with ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Experience in designing and developing API-driven solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with security best practices in software architecture.
• TOGAF or SAFe Solution Architect certification preferred.
