Havi Supply Chain Tech Hub’s diverse teams collaborate seamlessly across locations and functions, embodying a spirit of integrity and creativity to serve their customers in the best way possible.
Your new role
As a Solution Architect within the Intelligent Automation CoE, this role provides end-to-end solution designs that combine Intelligent Automation (RPA, workflow, agentic applications), Data & Analytics (domain data products, semantic layers, metrics, BI), and AI enablement (gateway, RAG, guardrails) to deliver measurable business outcomes. It owns non-functional requirements (NFRs), security-by-design principles, and integration patterns across various Supply Chain and GBS domains.
Operating as the technical linchpin within each domain triad — Domain Product Owner, IA Pod Lead, and Solution Architect — the role ensures that delivery teams and vendors build solutions aligned with enterprise standards, enabling consistency, scalability, and long-term value.
You will be responsible for:
Domain solution architecture
- Lead solution design for priority use cases (e.g., Freight ETA copilot, AP/PO exception automation, Contract Q&A)
- Produce end-to-end views (process, data, integration, security, run)
- Define NFRs (latency, throughput, resiliency, RTO/RPO, cost targets)
- Ensure NFRs are testable and tied to KPIs
Patterns & standards
- Publish and maintain reference patterns: API façade, eventing, warehouse/semantic layer access, RAG topology, secrets/KMS, observability
- Codify data contracts and schema-evolution rules with Data Enablement & Governance
- Enforce lineage and DQ gates for Tier-1 data
Security & compliance by design
- Embed privacy/PII controls, masking/pseudonymisation, data residency, and LLM egress allow-lists
- Ensure Legal/HR use cases apply stricter controls and human-in-the-loop where required
Build-time and run-time enablement
- Guide IA pods and analytics engineers through implementation
- Review PRDs/SDDs and sign off design-to-build readiness
- Define operability: SLOs, dashboards, alerts, runbooks, failure modes
- Participate in post-incident reviews and cost/performance tuning
Governance & reviews
- Run or support the Design Authority cadence
- Drive architecture compliance
- Maintain the integration/catalog of services and re-usable components
- Partner with PMO to align sequencing/dependencies
- Partner with AI Platform & Safety for evals/guardrails
- Partner with EPAM for platform readiness
Vendor management & acceptance
- Translate designs into clear acceptance criteria
- Review deliverables for compliance with patterns, security, and NFRs
- Sign off go-live readiness
What will you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Data Engineering, or related field
- Master’s in Information Systems/Data/Analytics or MBA with technology focus (preferred);
- Certifications such as TOGAF, Snowflake/Databricks/GCP/AWS/Azure, dbt (Fundamentals), ISO 27001 foundation, cloud security
- 8+ years in solution/enterprise/data architecture or senior engineering roles, including 3+ years designing data/analytics or IA solutions at scale
- Proven delivery in supply-chain or adjacent domains (orders, shipments, lanes, cost-to-serve, OTIF)
- Experience with data/analytics stack including warehouse/lakehouse, ELT/ETL, dbt, semantic layers, BI; MDM concepts, data contracts, lineage and observability
- Exposure to intelligent automation such as RPA, workflow orchestration, event-driven patterns, exception handling and runbooks
- Familiarity with AI enablement for consumers, including LLM gateways, RAG architectures (embeddings, vector stores, chunking, caching), evaluation and guardrails (no custom LLM training)
- Integration expertise across APIs, iPaaS, eventing, streaming; with focus on performance, resilience, security, cost, and zero-trust/data-egress controls
- Strong architectural documentation and diagramming; delivers crisp verbal briefings for executive and engineering audiences
- Hands-on fluency with at least one major cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) and API/iPaaS platform; able to review code and SQL when needed
- Comfortable managing vendors (SOWs, SLAs, acceptance criteria); leads design reviews and audits
- Pragmatic mindset, balancing speed vs. control; able to right-size architecture for Lean vs. Balanced delivery modes
- Strong communication, collaboration and delivery focus; promotes cross-team problem-solving, adapts quickly, anticipates risks, empowers teams, and builds lasting partnerships
- English fluency is mandatory
