Software Developer - Lisbon

Java, Scala, Haskell, Kotlin

Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office

An exiting opportunity for a Software Developer to learn and pick up new skills in Scala!

The candidate should have solid Java skills or knowledge of another Functional programming language such as Kotlin, Haskell etc

What you'll do

• Full-stack software development with strong focus on business value maximization
• Close collaboration with business analysts and business stakeholders for requirement gathering
• Participation in regular scrum activities
• Pro-active participation on team-organized efforts for technical platform improvements
• Unit testing and collaboration with quality assurance team for regression testing
• Collaboration with business support team to ensure stability of productive systems

What you'll need

• 5+ years Software Development experience
• Business fluency in English
• Capacity and flexibility for context switching
• Professional experience in Java or another functional programming language
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with relational database systems
• Experience with API design
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Familiarity with agile methodologies
