As a Software Developer at Ivy Partners, you will:

• Develop and maintain software applications in C++, ensuring performance, reliability, and code quality.
• Create and maintain automation and support scripts using Shell and Python.
• Autonomously manage the lifecycle of assigned features: from understanding requirements to delivery, including translating business needs into clear and actionable JIRA user stories and technical tasks.
• Keep source control repositories well-structured and always up to date, following best practices in branching and documentation.
• Plan and communicate priorities for each release, reporting progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure high technical quality by maintaining clean, maintainable code, solid unit test coverage, and striving for bug-free releases or at least release-ready with no critical defects.

About you!

• Possess expertise in C++ and have a sound knowledge of scripting languages like Shell and Python.
• Are capable of autonomously managing the scope and workflow of applications, understanding business needs, and translating those needs into JIRA tickets.
• Have good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
• Knowledge of build systems, such as CMake, is a plus.
