The Role

A growing technology-led organisation is looking for a SOC Analyst to join a small, hands-on security function. This role combines security monitoring, incident response, and cloud security, with exposure to governance and compliance activities.

You'll work closely with engineering and platform teams to ensure security controls are effective, practical, and embedded into daily operations.

What You'll Do

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents
• Support incident response and post-incident improvements
• Work with cloud, endpoint, and SaaS security tooling
• Support vulnerability management and security hygiene
• Assist with cloud hardening and security control implementation
• Contribute to DevSecOps and CI/CD security practices
• Support ISO 27001 controls, audits, and evidence
• Provide clear security guidance to technical and non-technical teams

Your Background

• 3-5 years' experience in a SOC Analyst / Security Analyst role
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and incident response
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar)
• Familiarity with IAM, network, endpoint, application security
• Experience with tools such as EDR, SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS
• Comfortable documenting incidents, controls, and risks
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
