We are seeking a SRE professional willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team in a hybrid model in Lisbon/Porto or Azambuja.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / Application Support Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with both technical and business teams to troubleshoot integrations, monitor system health, and proactively prevent issues.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, automation, and optimizing system reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical & Business Support: Act as a bridge between development teams and business stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
• Troubleshoot Integrations: Investigate and resolve application integration issues across multiple systems.
• Proactive Monitoring: Use ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor system performance and detect anomalies.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures.
• Prioritization & Ownership: Manage multiple concurrent issues, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of problem resolution.
• On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical incidents outside business hours.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest enhancements to logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to improve reliability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years in Application Support, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills - ability to detect patterns in recurring issues.
• Experience with Observability Tools: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS services.
• Basic Coding Skills (Nice to Have): Python, .NET Core (for debugging & automation).
• Collaboration Tools: Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitLab.
• Adaptability: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Retail/Logistics Knowledge (Bonus): Understanding of Transport Management Systems (TMS) or supply chain flows is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) implementations.
• Knowledge of logistics operations (carrier flows, supply chain concepts).
