At ARGHOS, an Engineering and Consulting company within the AERNNOVA industrial group, we are looking for a Site Quality Manager to join our team working with one of our main clients in the Oil&Gas Industry and to lead QAQC activities on site in Sines, Portugal.


You will be hired in Spain and work on-site in Sines, leading a multidisciplinary Quality Management Team and ensuring compliance with project quality requirements.

? Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Site Quality Plan (with the support of the Project Quality Manager) supporting overall project quality objectives
  • Act as the single point of contact for all QAQC activities and lead the Site Quality Management Team
  • Participate in selection, onboarding, and training of Quality Construction personnel
  • Review and approve Subcontractors' quality plans and procedures
  • Perform QAQC activities and verify compliance with contractual requirements throughout the project (construction, erection, and installation)
  • Monitor Subcontractors' performance and KPIs, maintaining quality records and documentation for smooth handover
  • Coordinate with third-party inspections and manage Quality Management System (QMS) audits/reviews
  • Identify, report, and follow up on QAQC deviations, coordinating corrective actions
  • Contribute to technical evaluations and performance assessments of subcontractors and inspection agencies
  • Manage and update QAQC MS deliverables
  • Review Test Packs and Final Quality Construction Dossiers

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of on-site experience in quality management
  • Languages: Spanish, English (C1), Portuguese
  • Experience in Oil & Gas construction projects (desirable)
  • Experience in Vendor Performance Management (desirable)
  • Strong leadership, reporting, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain KPIs and QAQC documentation for smooth project delivery
