Emagine is currently looking for a Senior Tech Lead/Solution Architect to support the design and evolution of advanced technology solutions for research and laboratory environments in a global context.

This role is focused on defining, aligning, and governing hybrid architectures across on-premise data centers and multi-cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), ensuring that applications, data flows, and infrastructures meet both scientific and operational requirements. Working closely with the Domain Solutions Architect and global stakeholders, this is a strategic role at the intersection of enterprise architecture, innovation, and compliance.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design of hybrid and multi-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and on-premise environments.
• Act as a global solution architecture reference for R&I laboratory environments, including desktops connected to lab instruments and local data centers.
• Collaborate closely with the Domain Solutions Architect to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Define solution patterns supporting the integration of AI and High Performance Computing (HPC) capabilities into research and laboratory ecosystems.
• Ensure architectural solutions comply with security, regulatory, and governance requirements, in close partnership with cybersecurity teams.
• Produce and maintain architecture and technical documentation, including cybersecurity and operational deliverables.
• Support troubleshooting of complex distributed system issues from an architectural and design perspective.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting best practices and architectural consistency across global sites.

You bring:

• Strong experience as a Solution Architect in hybrid environments combining on-premise infrastructure with AWS and Azure.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end solutions across applications, data flows, and infrastructure layers.
• Experience working in global, multi-site environments, collaborating across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
• A solid balance between innovation, enterprise standards, compliance, and governance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and domain stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to operate from an intermediate time zone to facilitate global collaboration when needed.

Nice to have:

• Previous experience supporting research, laboratory, or R&I environments.
• Exposure to AI and HPC architectures.
• Experience in regulated or security-driven environments.
