Your new Role
The Senior Solution Owner, WMS will serve as the business partner for the Warehouse Management Solution space, overseeing the technology solution leadership from concept to retirement of all WMS products. This role involves collaborating with Executives, Senior Leaders, and practitioners in HAVI to develop and execute a solution strategy and roadmap.

This position will lead a global team, including Solution Analysts, as well as cross-functional resources, to manage the solution/product life cycle. This person will ensure the successful delivery and continuous improvement of WMS solutions, aligning with organizational goals and driving operational excellence.

As a Senior Solution Owner, WMS you will be responsible for:
Solution Leadership
  • Develop and execute agreed solution/product strategies for all Warehouse Management Processes;
  • Align with Solution Owners to understand interdependencies between solutions and support a consolidated Operations (WMS, TMS, and Freight Management) Roadmap;
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the end-to-end delivery of solution/product Management, including Project Management, release Management, and transition to production operation;
  • Ensure effective solution adoption and user experience at cluster/market levels;
  • Support Data & Analytics organizations to deliver BI solutions and operationalize innovation solutions in the WMS process area post-incubation and prototyping;
  • Establish and manage solution metrics, tracking, reporting, and driving continuous improvements;
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management to ensure the best value from solution partners and feed findings to Business Processes & Data Governance for continuous improvements;
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, working with Information Security and Infrastructure Architects to optimize performance and cost.
Financial Management:
  • Manage solution/product financials and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), working with IT Controlling to budget, forecast, and deliver P&L results;
  • Implement cost control measures and optimize cloud and infrastructure usage with proper tracking, visibility, and control.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Manage Executive and stakeholder expectations;
  • Lead and participate in Project/Product Boards to steer product/solution delivery execution;
  • Participate in Joint Review Boards with strategic partners.
Team Coordination:
  • Manage and develop talents, identifying and solving gaps in skills and resources;
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.


What you will need to be suceed
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Product & Service Development, with strong Product /Project Management, and technology delivery leadership:
    - 5+ years in driving transformational organizational and technology change within IT solution/product delivery functions;
    - 5+ years in strategy development and execution of technology roadmap and product life cycle management in the areas of Warehouse Management solutions and technologies;
  • Experience leading multicultural teams using delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps);
  • Ability to influence functional colleagues to develop effective technology product strategies;
  • Ability to anticipate and understand market/customer needs;
  • Proven ability to steer the planning and execution of critical product development and deployment, breaking down organizational barriers and fostering innovation;
  • Builds trust and credibility within the Finance function and Operations leadership, fostering a "one team" spirit;
  • Ensures business processes, activities, and decisions align with DE&I strategy;
  • Excellent communication skills – Fluency in English.
