Senior React Native Engineer - Porto (Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite)

€60,000 - €65,000 + package

Join a growing engineering team in Porto with flexibility, progression, and modern tech at the heart of what they do. This company is the only organisation in their industry who has a mobile app and they want to use this to help propel them to being the leading provider in what they do around the world!

This role offers a hybrid set up (around three days a week in our Porto office) and the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world for up to eight weeks a year, a annual bonus based on personal contribution, private health insurance (extending to immediate family), a €500 annual wellness budget, and a daily meal allowance on office days. They also provide money towards sustainable commuting and a dedicated learning and development budget to support your continued growth.

You'll be joining a cross-functional mobile squad working in React Native, helping to shape the mobile platform that underpins what they do best. Two-thirds of your time will be hands-on coding, with the remainder focused on technical direction, leadership, and mentoring.

As Senior Mobile Engineer, you'll guide key initiatives such as expert self-registration, mobile survey engagement, and secure payment functionality. You'll help architect high-performance apps for iOS and Android, define CI/CD best practices, and collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable, responsive experiences across devices.

This is a product-led environment with a strong focus on iterative delivery. You'll influence decisions on testing strategy, deployment metrics, and platform improvements.

The stack includes React Native, TypeScript, Firebase, MySQL and AWS (including Lambda and serverless). There's space to shape the way engineering is done here, both in Porto and across the wider global team.
