Position: Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst / Developer - ITSM Focus

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid: 2 - 3 times a week at the client's office

Candidates must possess a valid work permit for Portugal

Mandatory Languages Required: and English (minimum C1) French (is a plus)


We're looking for a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst/Developer to support and evolve our ITSM processes. If you're the type who hears "Change Management" and thinks "Challenge accepted", keep reading. This role is all about turning business needs into smart ServiceNow solutions - from workflows to user training


Your Skills & Expertise:

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years in a similar ServiceNow role with solid hands-on skills in configuration and workflow design
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules
  • Experience troubleshooting system issues, investigate and recommend permanent solutions
  • Experience collaborating with IT teams as ITSM process owners and CMDB users to gather and translate requirements
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML, XML, REST/SOAP APIs
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow delivery and ITIL best practices
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • English level B2-C1


Nice-to-Haves:

  • ServiceNow CSA - Certified System Administrator
  • ServiceNow ITSM Fundamentals
  • Familiarity with CMDB, Infrastructure, or ITOM


? Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement workflows and customizations in modules like Incident, Problem, Change, and Request
  • Ensure alignment with ITIL and ServiceNow best practices
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow configurations and custom code (JavaScript, HTML, XML, etc.)
  • Conduct testing (UAT included) and prepare detailed documentation
  • Deliver user training and provide support to business owners
  • Manage roles, users, and group permissions
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
