Adecco Recruitment is hiring for a Finance Center of Excellence on behalf of a premium client with a newly established SSC in Porto Senior Project Manager Advisor Purchase to Pay (M/F).

What you will be doing

• Provide technical expertise and strategic advice to senior and executive management on emerging systems trends, best practices, opportunities, and risks in Purchase to Pay (PtP).
• Regularly review and update the Global Process Model, DTPs, and Job Aids (bi-annually/annually).
• Act as a key liaison with external auditors and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor end-to-end PtP processes, working closely with Process Excellence, GBS, and SSC/BPO teams to drive continuous improvements.
• Research and introduce industry trends and innovative digital solutions for PtP, such as RPA and process automation.
• Develop white papers to document significant accounting and process events, and implement new policies and procedures as needed.
• Design and deliver monthly management and analytical reporting to track performance and inform decision-making.

 

What do you bring with you

• Strong background in Finance, with significant experience (5-10 years) in Purchase to Pay and Project Management.
• Proven ability to lead complex, international projects.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end PtP processes, including invoicing, vendor management, payments, and purchase orders.
• Extensive experience in business partnering and collaborative projects within PtP.
• Strong skills in risk assessment, controls, reporting, and analytics.
• Fluency in English for business environments (knowledge of other European languages is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (mandatory) and Oracle is plus.
